Welcome to the site.
I look to nature for inspiration, the very source of inclusive design, process, and quality.
Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Merritt Vincent Broady and this is my story told in pictures, taken through the lens of a LUMIX DMC-GF2 and Lumix S5II. I exercise perpetual curiosity, pursue novelty, and as a result, receive the gift of presence—delivered to you in this collection of photos and through my writing.
I’ve been lucky enough to live in 12 countries on five continents. Where and when I can—from the Namib desert to the temperate rain forests of West Virginia—I attempt to capture life’s entangled beauty. My travels have shown me that no matter where you are or where you are from, the land always knows you; and if you take the time to know the land, to speak her language, she will wrap you in wonder.
In nature, I am home—experiencing the reciprocal relationship of giving and receiving, healing and love, beauty and art. Nature connects me to people of the land, who have a sacred bond to the very Life that sustains us. Nature provides me with adventure and exploration, delivering constant joy through motion and discovery. As you look through my photos, or take the time to read my entries, if you feel a connection to any of it, then I will have forwarded the reciprocity of nature—to enter into it fully, all you need to do is pay attention.
As I state on the homepage, inspiration encircles us, always searching for a human collaborator to express itself freely and creatively. This is the art we bring into the world.
